Day 4: Mto wa mbu back to arusha
After breakfast at your Lodge, you will drive to Mto wa Mbu village for an excursion, and get an inside look at the homes and exquisite craft of Mto wa Mbu’s many tribes. You will meet locals and learn about banana beers, the Makonde woodcarving community and community painting techniques. You will also learn about the irrigation system that sustains local crops, including rice and 32 species of bananas. After a delicious local, have lunch at the village, and drive to the airport, Zanzibar/home.

When is the best time to visit?
The best time to visit Serengeti National Park in Tanzania depends on what you want to see and do, but you can have a great experience any time of year:

- Dry season (June–October)The best time for wildlife viewing, with the Great Migration at its peak. Animals gather around waterholes and rivers, and you can see mega-herds of wildebeest. However, it's also the most crowded time to visit.
