Overview

A 4-day safari where you will see the Big Five and other interesting animals. You will get the opportunity to observe wild animals up close and take photos of the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania. This tour takes you to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro with a professional guide, full board, and private use of a 4×4 Jeep (with mineral water, snacks, power sockets, and binoculars supplied) while staying in carefully selected accommodation.

Schedule Details

Day 1 Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You are picked up from your hotel early in the morning to start the beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes. Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. All these while the Tarangire River winds its way through the parklands. You may see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight. Accommodation  Africa Safari Lake Manyara (Safari Tent)

Day 2 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a game drive and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the camp. Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life. Accommodation  Kontiki Serengeti Camp

Day 3 Serengeti Nation Park Full-day game drive

Embark on a thrilling full-day game drive through the vast Serengeti National Park. Witness the iconic Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing land. Spot the Big Five - lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, and elephants - as well as a variety of other wildlife, including cheetahs, hyenas, and countless bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the Serengeti, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. As the sun sets, witness the golden hour, a magical time when the African bush comes alive. Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient volcanic caldera is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the Big Five. Embark on a full-day game drive, exploring the crater's lush grasslands, forests, and alkaline lake. Witness the incredible diversity of wildlife, from lions and leopards to elephants, zebras, and countless bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery, before ascending the crater and returning to Arusha. end of the tour

    The best time to visit Tarangire National Park depends on what you want to do: 
     
     
    • Wildlife viewing: The best time to view wildlife is during the dry season, from June to October. During this time, animals gather around the Tarangire River. 
       
       
    • Birding: The best time to go bird watching is during the wet season, from November to March. Migratory birds are present during this time, and local bird species are breeding.
