Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
<p>Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha) you will be met by Jema Safaris’ representative and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for overnight stay waiting for your adventures to start on the following day. Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approximately 149 km (926 mi) & 25hrs drive)
<p>Early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha at around 0730hrs or according to your preferred time, you will drive straight to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 2.5hrs. Tarangire National Park is famous for the largest African elephants as well as the huge baobab trees and the mini-wildlife migration with more than 250,000 animals. It is one of the largest parks with an area of more than 2600 square kilometers. You will also get a unique opportunity to see different animal species such as large numbers of impalas, elands, giraffes, buffaloes, Thompson’s gazelle and gerenuk. Other animals that you will encounter are such as the wildebeests and zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetah that seem to be popular within the southern open areas. You will be served with hot picnic lunch in the afternoon at around 1230hrs. Day 3: Ngorongoro crater to Arusha
<p>Early morning after breakfast at your accommodation around 0730hrs to 0800hrs, you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area and have a glimpse of the crater from a viewpoint before entering the crater. The depth of Ngorongoro crater is approximately 6oo meters. It has a total diameter of 20 km with an area of about 260 square kilometers. Animals that are found inside the crater are like the wildebeests, elephants, zebras, antelopes, prides of lions, buffalos, leopards, jackals, hyenas, hippos. It is also home to more than 500 bird species ranging from the largest to the smallest and within a very short time, it is possible to see as many birds as possible. Lunch will be served at a picnic site near the permanent hippo pool. After lunch, you will finalize your game drive and ascend the crater on your way to Arusha or at the airport JRO or ARK for your onwards flight.</p>
