The park boasts a variety of landscapes that attract many different animals. Day 3 - 4 Serengeti National Park (central west/east)

Serengeti National Park is widely known as the place to go on safari, mainly because of that passes through here. The enormous, stampeding herds are impressive, as are the vast amount of predators that live here: over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you. Are you ready for this?

Accommodations:

Day 5 Ngorongoro Conservation Area (incl. Crater)

The famous Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago when a vast volcano erupted. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa! Once in the crater, thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalos and black rhinos surround you, and the views are astounding – you won’t know where to look!

Accommodations:

Day 6 - 7 The last day and your flight home from Kilimanjaro Int. Airport

The last day! Depending on your flight time, you can relax in the lodge a bit longer before our driver takes you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home. Having second thoughts? It's also possible to add a few days to your holiday by going to one of Tanzania's paradise island such as Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia!

F.A.Q

When is the best time to visit Northern Part Of Tanzania?

The best time to visit Northern Tanzania for a safari is during the dry season, from June to October.

Here's why:

  • Wildlife Viewing:

    • Vegetation is shorter and drier, making it easier to spot animals.
    • Animals congregate around water sources, increasing your chances of seeing them.
    • The Great Migration, a spectacular annual event where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles migrate across the Serengeti, is most active during this period.
  • Weather:

    • Generally sunny with clear skies, ideal for game drives and photography.
    • Temperatures are pleasant, with warm days and cool evenings.

However, there are other factors to consider:

  • Peak Season: June to October is peak season, so expect higher prices and more crowds.
  • Great Migration: If seeing the Great Migration is a top priority, July and August are the best months to witness the famous river crossings.
  • Budget: If you're on a budget, consider visiting during the shoulder seasons (April-May and November) when prices are lower and crowds are smaller.

No matter when you choose to visit, Northern Tanzania offers an unforgettable safari experience.
